YES Nepal legally registered on 2002 in District Administration Office, Achham and affiliated in Social Welfare Council.
YES Nepal’s head office is in Sanphebagar Municipality ward no.4, Achham and an Executive Team office in Dhangadi.
It is working in two districts; Achham and Kailali with altogether 54,906 people (30,685 female and 24,221 male)
Youths in Empowerment Sector (YES) Nepal is a non-governmental organization established in 27th June, 2002 A.D. in District Administration office Achham, by the former staff of Community based Organization Development for Empowerment (CODE) program of United Mission to Nepal (UMN), under the Society Registration Act 1978 A.D. Similar to its name, it was founded by a group of youth having expertise in the sector of social mobilization, capacity building, water and sanitation, HIV and AIDS, Sustainable Livelihood and socio economic empowerment. Its programs head office is in Sanphebagar Municipality ward no.4, Achham and an Executive Team office in Dhangadi.
YES Nepal is a social, non religious, apolitical and non profitable organization aiming to strengthen capacities of Dalits, indigenous people, women, disable, HIV infected, poor and under privileged and thereby to develop a society free from discrimination, exploitation and poverty. The organization is formally registered in District Administration Office, Achham and is also affiliated with Social Welfare Council.
YES Nepal has been implementing various programs since its inception. During the course of program implementation, it has partnered with many INGOs, NGOs and community based networking organizations. It has also been executing various activities in coordination with 12 Cooperatives and 5 community based network organization of these three districts. From activities carried out in Achham, Kailali and Baitadi districts altogether 57,593 people (30,214 female and 27,579 male) of 11,215 Households are been benefited, out of which 12,628 are dalits (6,661 female and 5,967 male) from 2,573 households. Moreover, YES Nepal has been strongly emphasizing on the relationship building and coordination with local government bodies and line agencies

YES Nepal has a five-year strategic plan in order to determine it's working direction, as per which YES Nepal has the vision 'to build an equitable and prosperous society' for its target groups.
